My name is Roberto Rios. I am a Mexican freethinker who has lived in the U.S. for the past twenty years.
I was raised in a Catholic home; however, at the age of 15, I deserted the ranks of the catholic church and joined the skeptics. When I was 18, I used to carry a pocket bible everywhere I went. When I was criticized for reading it by those who knew I was an atheist-wanna-be, I always told them, “If I want to find fault with something, I have to read it and really understand it, for those who criticize something they don’t really know are just imbeciles.” The more I read the bible, the less I believed in god.
For some time, I gave the studying of the bible a rest. I still had conversations with evangelist, Jehovah Witnesses, etc. I remember telling one of them, "If there is one person who is indecisive about god, it would be easier for me to convince him not to believe in god, citing your bible, that for you to convince him of the contrary."
For a long time, I romanced the idea of writing a book to expose all my findings, but I had neither the time nor the media. Now that I have found the time, I want to show the Atheist community and the indecisive ones, the evidence that proves that god did not created mankind, but it was man who created godkind.
